BGaming had two titles among the world’s most widely distributed football-themed casino games on operator sites during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Penalty Duel with Júlio César ranked seventh globally and was available across 262 operator brands, while Lucky Pack 2026 Cup ranked tenth across 212. BGaming was the only provider with two titles in the global top 10.
Two BGaming titles in the global top 10
The findings come from a joint BGaming and Blask report analysing football-themed game distribution during the tournament. The global ranking was based on brand and lobby presence across tracked operator sites, using publicly available signals rather than operator-reported figures.
The wider top 10 also included instant-win, crash and live casino games alongside slots, showing that football-themed content was distributed across several formats during the tournament.
Penalty Duel saw stronger activity during the tournament
BGaming also reported stronger performance for Penalty Duel with Júlio César during the World Cup. GGR increased by 163% during the tournament, while bet count rose by 150%.
Following its exclusive launch on Betano, the game entered the top five of the operator’s main casino lobby and moved from 135th to seventh in its category, continuing to rank inside the top 10 afterwards.
Different formats reached different audiences
Penalty Duel with Júlio César is an instant-win title developed in collaboration with former Brazil goalkeeper Júlio César, while Lucky Pack 2026 Cup is a traditional slot.
Julia Alekseeva, CPO at BGaming, said the performance of the two titles showed the potential for different game mechanics to reach different audiences around major sporting events.
